A rare dual-signed Fenton Art Glass collectible from the company’s celebrated 95th Anniversary era (2000), this cobalt blue bell carries two signatures on the glass: Dan Fenton — grandson of founder Frank Fenton and a member of the Fenton family — and artist H. Tofia, whose hand-painted decoration adorns the body. The inscription “Hand Painted by H. Tofia” appears alongside both signatures in script directly on the glass.
The deep royal cobalt body is decorated with a graceful white iris and lily composition, rendered with naturalistic green leaves and delicate stem work. Scattered white dot accents and small red berries animate the design, while a silver double band with amber dot detail rings the base above the signature scalloped crimped rim. The cobalt handle rises through a turned collar to a smooth teardrop finial.
Dual-signed Fenton pieces — bearing both a family member’s signature and a named artist’s — are among the most collectible in American art glass. A significant find.
