What could have been a straightforward mid-century footed bowl has been transformed by time into something genuinely painterly: deep copper, warm bronze, violet, teal, and gold tones shift across the surface depending on the light, the result of decades of natural oxidation that simply cannot be replicated.
The form is classic and elegant — a shallow scalloped and lobed bowl on a turned pedestal base with a stepped circular foot. The scalloped rim has a gentle, organic rhythm that softens the piece and makes it feel at home in both traditional and maximalist interiors.
