Is it haunted? Probably. But if they're not, they're definitely weirdos — and we mean that in the most affectionate way possible.
This unsettling little duo is a vintage bronze-tone metal figurine depicting a large shaggy spaniel-type dog seated with a smaller pup nestled at its feet. The large dog wears a studded collar and sports a pair of deeply soulful (read: deeply unnerving) amber eyes that follow you across the room. The smaller pup has them too. Of course it does.
The base is hollow — an open cavity that serves no obvious functional purpose and raises more questions than it answers. We don't know who made it. We don't know why. We don't know what it was used for. We're choosing not to think about it too hard.
What we do know: it's older, it's well-made, and it has serious energy. Perfect for the collector who appreciates the strange, the storied, and the slightly inexplicable.
