A beautiful little piece of American history, crafted in one of England's most recognizable pottery traditions. This vintage Wedgwood blue Jasperware miniature plate features a detailed white relief of the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., surrounded by an intricate wreath of grapevines and foliage.
The signature Wedgwood blue provides a striking backdrop for the raised white detailing, creating the timeless contrast that has made Jasperware beloved by collectors for generations. Despite its petite size, the architectural scene is remarkably detailed, from the Capitol's iconic dome and columns to the delicate leaves framing the plate.
Perfect for a curated bookshelf, antique secretary desk, display cabinet, or small decorative easel, this collectible plate brings a touch of neoclassical elegance to any space. It would make a thoughtful gift for a Wedgwood collector, American history enthusiast, Washington, D.C. admirer, or anyone who appreciates beautifully crafted English pottery.
